 Khajina Vihir (खजिना विहीर) was very famous place from last 225 years. There was beautiful construction by Peshwas. In year 1936 old construction was destroyed & New building constructed named Khajina Mahal in 1942.

Khajina Vihir was supposed to be a part of the Peshwa gardens and bungalow (which is supposed to be buried under Bharat Natya Mandir).

And the khajina part stands for water khajina & not the monetory khajina so these workers will be disappointed.

The real Khajina Vihir was discovered recently in Pune near SP College (next to SP Biryanis) under the ruins of Khajina Mahal building which was demolished recently.

These historic treasures would not be preserved as this belongs to the builder.


So some very rare photos of the well are available which will soon be destroyed most likely in favor of a new construction.
