Most rickshaws drivers will negotiate.
The current rate for a rickshaw
| Minimum fare: | Rs17 for first 1.5Km |
| Fare above minimum fare: | Rs11.65 per Km |
| Waiting charges per hour: | Rs20. Minimum 15 minutes are charged. |
| Luggage charges: | Rs 3.00 for every package greater than 60 x 40 cm. |
Now a days many rickshaw meter shows distance you traveled & Amt. in Rs. that you have to pay.
At night time, rickshaw rates increase 50% between 00am to 05am.
If distance is far they ask about half-return fee or ask you for a little extra,
it's not legal and no need to always paid.
