Today the number of devotees visit Dhankavdi's Samadhi temple to pay their homage to
the Divine Supreme power and to experience His existence even after His Samadhi.
Shree Shankar Maharaj left the divine body on the decided day of Ashtami (28th April 1947).
The Samadhi temple of Yogiraj Shree Sadguru Shankar Maharaj is standing in all its glory at Dhankavdi.
If you are traveling to Dhankavdi in your own vehicle from Mumbai,
then take a left turn before Katraj Ghat on the Pune-Satara bypass road.
And move towards Swargate. You can see the Samadhi Math on the right hand side.
If you are travelling in state government bus from Mumbai to Satara or Satara to Mumbai,
get down at the stop of Katraj Ghat Octroi Naka. And from there take a rickshaw
to Shree Shankar Maharaj Samadhi Math at Dhankavdi.
